The most sincere dreams deserve the best service and support. So we recommend you choose the pilot training route with particular rigor. The training program and provider you select will undoubtedly play their role in how your career rolls out. Our new ATPL program, designed in cooperation with ENAC (École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile), is an excellent choice if you want to go the extra mile. Apart from acquiring the most necessary skills, it will immerse you in vibrant, explicit and truly diverse training. But what does it mean precisely? And what’s, in essence, ENAC?
Perks of the new ATPL program – what’s there for you?
ENAC is N°1 Aviation University in Europe based in Toulouse, France. It counts over 70 years of operations, so it has in-depth methodologies and follows the highest standards to prepare subject matter experts in aviation and indisputable reputation in France and abroad for its well-structured programs leading to higher education degrees.
The partnership of BAA Training and ENAC that started in 2019 has now reached a new level. ENAC brought the best of its know-how to the table and contributed to BAA Training’s creation of a new ATPL program for pilots with no previous flying experience.
The new pilot training program is not a “better “option than our traditional ATPL training, but it certainly has something many will view as an added benefit. Although it is a BAA Training program, you will still complete certain training phases at ENAC as we will subcontract these stages to them. At the same time, it means you will inevitably get a lot of diverse experiences that will help you grow your professional readiness and attitude.
By saying “diverse experience,“ we imply a broader range of aircraft you get to fly on, locations to visit and instructors to learn from. It will give you the much-needed international “hands-on“ experience every future pilot wants.
Additionally, this program that has pooled together the best practices and capacity of BAA Training and ENAC allows you to add JOC and Type Rating. This way, you can choose to go “from zero to hero“ and eventually become a commercial pilot hitting the skies at the airline you like.
Structure of the new ATPL program
To start with, the whole training you will do will be under BAA Training ATO. However, as mentioned earlier, BAA Training will subcontract some training phases to ENAC.
You will be completing theory with BAA Training in Vilnius for 36 weeks. Then, you will proceed with VFR flights at one of our flight bases in Spain (18 weeks). The subcontracted parts are Bridge VFR and IFR, which take 38 weeks and require you to travel to France. Last but not least, for the MCC training (final two weeks), you will get back to BAA Training in Lithuania to finish your journey.
Fancy learning theory virtually? Go ahead.
If a classroom is not the place you learn best, you are free to pick an option to stay at home or another convenient location for theoretical training. BAA Training has developed a virtual platform ideally suited for conducting high-quality EASA standard pilot training online.
You will then take more ownership of your time and avoid traveling-imposed expenses without compromising the quality of training sessions. Learning via a virtual classroom is practically the same as a traditional one, except you do it through a reliable and comprehensive online infrastructure with instructor-led lessons, self-study materials, tests, exams, etc.
Apply now, thank yourself later
First of all, let’s make it clear – “apply “does not mean jumping straight to making a purchase! We do realize you must have tons of questions, and the article might have answered just a fraction of them. Fill in the form and ask us anything that’ll help you make up your mind about this new ATPL training we have just launched or other courses at BAA Training Aviation Academy that you think might hit the mark (there’re quite a few suited for fresh starters).
