The 767 program celebrated a major milestone when the 100th 767-300 Freighter was delivered to FedEx earlier this month.
Cargo operators around the world keep the global 767 Freighter fleet busy, using each airplane an average of 10 hours a day. The 100 freighters delivered so far have accumulated more than 2 million flight hours combined since the introduction of the model.
If the 767 freighter engines were attached to a typical automobile, at takeoff power the car would accelerate from zero to 60 mph (96,5 kph) in less than half a second.
The 767 Freighter represents more than 10 percent of the flying 767 fleet.
Schedule reliability – an industry measure of departure from the gate within 15 minutes of scheduled time – is 99.2 % for 767.
