Baltic Aviation Academy expands its fleet

Aviation training centre Baltic Aviation Academy for the second year in the row is expanding its fleet by purchasing additional multi-engine Tecnam P2006T. The second multi-engine aircraft will allow students to complete MEP training in a faster and more efficient manner while academy continues to grow and increase the number of students.

Last year academy purchased five aircraft, which nearly doubled its training capacity. The newest addition of Tecnam P2006T now brings the entire fleet to twelve aircraft used for Ab Initio training.  “Currently we have over a hundred students at our academy that are going to need MEP training, therefore, providing sufficient access to multi-engine aircraft is very important, especially for those who are about to graduate with their licenses. This is also a step towards the fulfillment of the planned growth and expansion plans,” comments Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO of Baltic Aviation Academy.

The reason that Baltic Aviation Academy’s fleet consists of nine Tecnam P2002 and two Tecnam P2006T aircraft is not a coincidence, but rather a choice for quality and price ratio that Italian design provides. “The market for training aircraft is not huge, therefore we choose the company which manufactures both single and multi engine aircraft. It means smoother training for students, and of course, simpler maintenance processes,” comments Jaroslav Vostrikov, Deputy Head of Training for Aviation Training Ab Initio at Baltic Aviation Academy.

Tecnam Corporation has been working with Baltic Aviation Academy since the first aircraft purchase in 2012 and is planning to continue this successful partnership for many more to come. “Flight Training Organizations around the world are choosing Tecnam’s wide range of superlative aircraft to modernize their fleets.” FTO’s have been delighted with the reliability, efficiency and ease of maintenance that Tecnam aircraft offer. Tecnam aircraft are bringing FTO’s basic and advance flight training offerings to an entirely new level of quality, helping their students develop the skills they need in a modern cockpit environment.” said Paolo Pascale, Tecnam’s Managing Director.
